I am in the process of reading a book called, Bad Hare Day. It is an interesting book. The book is about a 12 year – old named Tim Swanson, whose dream is to become a famous magician just like his idol, Amaz-O. Now Amaz-O’s is doing a show at an adult night club called Midnight Mansion. So he and his friend Foz go to a magic shop where all the tricks are designed by Amaz-O himself. They see a man who works there and he gives them free tickets to Amaz-O’s show. He sneaks out to Midnight Mansion. Then Amaz-O asks Tim to be the volunteer for his act. After the show, Tim wanted to talk to Amaz-O, but he realizes his idol is a total grump. So Tim decides to steal Amaz-O’s bag of secret tricks. He steals one of his scary tricks. But terrible things start to happen (read on if you want to hear what happens to Tim.)

I would recommend this book to someone who likes horror books. This is not the type of book that you want to snuggle up in bed with. You can find this book called, Bad Hare Day at your school or at your local library in the Goosebumps section. When you read this book, you WILL get Goosebumps!

The book, The Kidnapped King is by Ron Roy. This book is a really good book. It’s about a king that gets kidnapped in the middle of the night at his new friend’s house. As they find out he is gone, they end up searching for clues to give a hint where he might be. So as they were searching they were getting closer and closer to finding him. If you want to find out who took him and why his family got kidnapped too, read this book!
I think you should read it if you like mysterious books. I’m sure you will enjoy it just like I did. You should also read it because it’s sort of funny, scary, and it will make you want to read the book in one day. So if you are going to read this book I am sure you will love this amazing mystery.

I am in the process of reading a book called Teacher’s Pet by Jenny Dale. It is about a dog named Sam and a boy named Neil. His family owns a shop in town. Neil is taking Sam for a walk when all of a sudden he sees a Dalmatian chasing a lady on a bike with the Dalmatian’s owner chasing them. In a stern voice, he tells the dog to sit and she does sit. Then the next day when Neil goes to school he finds out that the dogs owner that he saw yesterday was his teacher and then his teacher gives him the weirdest look like he was mad. If you want to see what happens next you will have to read the book.

I would recommend this book to anyone that likes dogs. It is a chapter book so it will probably take long, but it is worth it. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone that doesn’t like dogs because all it is about is basically dogs all kinds. There are different novels in this series, but I find this book to be really good, especially with the character Neil. Neil is a really funny character.

I am in the middle of a great book called Double Fudge. It is a very funny book. It is one of the best books I’ve ever read in my life. It is full of excitement and adventure. One event occurs when Fudge and Peter go to Washington because Fudge has a big problem with something. I mean very big problem. When they get to Washington they run into long lost relatives that aren’t very smart and very weird. They hate T.V and electronic things. I forgot to tell you Fudge has a myna bird that loves to talk and say bad things like “bonjour stupid”. If you want to know more about Fudge and the trouble he gets in you better get to a library and fast!

I read the graphic novel Bone-Out From Boneville, by Jeff Smith. This book is full of adventure. It’s about a Bone named FoneBone, and his two cousins PhoneyBone and SmileyBone, who just got run out of Boneville. They find themselves in a whacked- valley filled with monsters, dragons, and don’t use money! FoneBone meets a girl named Thorn, while Phoney and Smiley get in trouble with the town bar!

This book is a good book for kids aged nine and up. If you want to find out the end you need to read this book. The more books you read the better it gets! WARNING – it has bits of blood and gore!

I am in the process of reading How to Tame a Bully. This book is about a girl named Lauren Campbell who is so excited to be in Ms. MacArthur’s room this year. But there is a girl named Bethany who all the kids at school are afraid of. They say that she is the meanest bully in the school. She is so mean that the kids she picks on cry. Lauren is very sad because she is the one she picks on.

I would recommend this to girls aged seven to eleven. It is a very good book because it shows how a girl deals with a bully and how she deals with it in the year.

I just finished the book called The Best Christmas Ever. It’s about a cat how runs away five days before Christmas. His owner gets all worried and she searched high and low but all she found was unusual animals. After two days passed, the girl Jan, gave up and she stops believing. But one day before Christmas she . . . sorry but you have to read the book to find out if she finds her cat.

I would recommend this book to kids four years old and up because you can read it to your kids for a bed time story or just for fun. If you like kittens and adventure you’ll surely like to read this book.

I just finished reading the book called The Old Farmer’s Almanac for Kids. I learned a lot from it. One of the things I learned was there was a man who got struck by lightning seven times and he survived. After the eighth time being struck, he died. That part was sad, but I found the fact that he was able to get shocked that amount of times was just amazing! It tells you a lot about things that have happened in the past and present. Some of the things in this book are sad or scary but most of them are truly amazing!

I wouldn’t recommend this to someone who would read this to their children. It’s more of a read it yourself book. I would recommend it to anyone from the ages ten to fifteen because it has some words that are quite long and hard to pronounce. If you like a good, exciting, non-fiction, event shocking book, then this is the book for you.
